Eat to protest - Vindaloo Against Violence - Unique movement in Australia to protest violence and racism.
I have been watching the reports on NDTV mentioning a rise of voilence against Indians in Australia . Time reports that : Some 17,000 people turned out on Feb. 24 in cities across Australia to eat dinner at Indian restaurants as part of Vindaloo Against Violence. The mass-dining campaign started as a 100-person Facebook event but soon grew into a show of solidarity with Australia's 450,000-member Indian community. Read more I wish I had heard of this before.
