I found this movie deep in the catalog during the final leg of a long flight from Abu Dhabi to Washington D.C.
It was called Konchem Hatke. I had never heard of it. It had no stars I recognized. But the duration was exactly equal to the flight time remaining, so I hit play.
What I watched was a low-budget, meta-commentary on the chaos of creativity. The plot doesn't start with a grand vision or a boardroom strategy. It starts with four strangers from different generations meeting around a dustbin on a hot day. That random, messy encounter leads them to make a movie together.
It felt like a home movie made by friends, but it carried a wisdom that most polished corporate strategies miss.
The Innovation Trap
In the corporate world, we are obsessed with "readiness."
We believe that before we can build something new—whether it’s a marketing campaign, a software product, or a new team culture—we need the prerequisites. We need the budget approved. We need the headcount. We need the "lanes" defined.
