I used a SOny DCRSR-82 that is hard disk camcorder. Where you saw a little whiteness it was with the "nightshot" option. its a nice camcorder.
It's dangerous to sit next to you b/c all of my mindless chatter got caught on tape - HAHA! Thanks for capturing the dinner on video! It was a great time!!! (And of course I'll sit next to you anytime!)
